The East St. Louis Federation of Teachers Local 1220 and the school district reached a tentative agreement after a 13-hour negotiating session assisted by Federal mediators Roland Lewis and Glen Reed.
The agreement, if approved, could return teachers and students to classrooms as early as Monday.
