Mediator Praised for Role in Seabrook Nuclear Plant Tentative Agreement, Averting Lockout

With a labor negotiation deadline rapidly approaching for the Seabrook nuclear plant in New Hampshire, union and management representatives met with federal mediator Elaine Temple in a last ditch effort to achieve a tentative agreement and avert a possible lockout, affecting some 226 workers at the facility. Negotiators later credited the FMCS mediator for her role in the contract talks.
