Pike County, IL Ambulance Workers Reach Agreement With Mediator Help

With assistance from a federal mediator, Pike County, IL and its ambulance workers, represented by the Operating Engineers Local 965 have reached a first-ever contract agreement. The county and the union met with the mediator for nearly five hours on March 16 to reach the three-year agreement. The union has already ratified the contract, and the Pike County Board will likely vote in April.
