In a recent news release announcing a settlement agreement filed in federal court between Encore Series, Inc., presenter of Peter Nero and The Philly POPS, and Peter Nero, lawyers for both side expressed their thanks to FMCS Director George Cohen for his work in assisting the parties in reaching agreement.  "...Without his help it would have been difficult for the parties to have finalized the settlement," the news release stated. The settlement agreement cleared the way for conductor and pianist Peter Nero to  serve in his new position as artistic director for the upcoming 2012-2013 Philly POPS concert season.
