FMCS to Describe Helpful Services at FLRA Town Hall Meetings for Federal Labor-Management Reps

Release Date: 5/16/2012

Federal Mediation and Conciliation Service (FMCS) representatives will introduce Agency services, including specialized training and facilitation services aimed at improving labor-management cooperative relationships in the federal sector, at each of a series of town hall meetings to be hosted by the Federal Labor Relations Authority’s (FLRA’s) Office of General Counsel (OGC) in each of the FLRA's regional office cities.

Each of the public meetings will provide an introduction to OGC ’s information and training resources, an FLRA Unfair Labor Practice and Representation case law update, and a question-and-answer session with the General Counsel, Deputy General Counsel and Regional Director.

In addition, the Town Hall meetings will introduce participants to a new web-based training course developed by the FLRA's OGC.
