The Federal Mediation & Conciliation Service (FMCS) is a government agency with over fifty years of experience in promoting labor-management cooperation through mediation, joint labor-management cooperation training, and technical assistance in the development of labor-management partnerships.  It is the premiere resource in the U.S. government for labor-management consulting in the areas of win-win negotiation, cooperative work processes, cooperative labor-management consultation structures, and general conflict management.

In addition, FMCS has extensive international experience – including in several APEC economies -- in training, conflict management systems design, and the facilitation of cross-cultural workplace collaboration and conflict resolution.  For more information, please see the FMCS web site at www.fmcs.gov
